Kykkos Plant

Kykkos Natural Mineral Water Bottling Factory

The third plant of our Company is located on the mountain of Kykkos where we bottle the water of the same name. With the acquisition of Kykkos Natural Mineral Water in 2011, we invested 2,000,000 euros to modernize the facilities and upgrade the plant, in order to combine the maintenance of high quality with the simultaneous application of all modern safety and hygiene rules.

It is a modern unit with a production line, while its production potential reaches 32,500,000 liters per year. This is where Kykkos Natural Mineral Water packs of: 0.5 ml, 1 liter and 1.5 liter are bottled.

Through the responsible management of water throughout our value chain, we create wider impacts on the economy, society and the environment, contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals linked to the conservation of water resources and responsible production and consumption.

It is the most basic component of our products, an integral part of our production process, a source of life for our planet and essential for sustaining communities and supporting economic growth. We understand its value and respect it as one of the world's most precious resources.

By 2030, the impact of climate change will further increase risks to the availability and quality of local water resources. Therefore, we work to reduce the amount of water required for the production of our products but also to ensure its safe return to the environment.

"We use water more efficiently having significantly improved the water index in the last 5 years (1.16 lt per liter of product produced in 2017 to 1.11 in 2023) the lowest water consumption index in our Group through the implementation of continuous improvement practices and investments management of the water we use.

We use electricity from 100% renewable sources and continuously save energy by improving the energy index in the last 5 years (0.22 MJ per liter of product produced in 2017 to 0.19 in 2021)."
