Nicosia, 14 April – Responding to the needs and expectations of the community, Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus renews its Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Cyprus for another three years.

At Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus we believe that the growth of our company is linked to the well-being of the local community. To this end, we implement substantial and long-term programs and develop initiatives that create value and respond to the needs of Cypriot society and especially young people.

In this context, Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus, through the dynamic cooperation it has developed with the MBA Department of the University of Cyprus and with the Department of Business Administration and Public Administration, actively contributes to rewarding excellence and promoting research, innovation and talent development with vision and prospects for a successful professional career.

Since 2022, through its collaboration with the University of Cyprus, Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus has been offering annually:

• A full scholarship of €10,250 to the best senior year to study in the MBA program.

• A permanent job in the company in Greece or Cyprus, to an MBA graduate through the company's "CCHBC Graduate Trainee" program.

• Sponsorship of a cash prize of €2,500 to the group of senior students who prepare the best applied business study.

• Participation of MBA students in the educational program "Market Execution in Coca-Cola Hellenic" with practical training, through their participation in the company's "Market Impact Team (MIT)".

The small ceremony of the renewal of the Memorandum of Cooperation was attended on behalf of the University of Cyprus by the directors of the MBA Department, Associate Professor Dr. Marios Theodosiou and Professor Irene Karamanou and on behalf of Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus, Andreas Giortsios, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Manager Cyprus and Chara Leonidou HR Business Partner.

On behalf of the directors of the MBA Department, Associate Professor Dr. Marios Theodosiou, said: "We express our warm thanks for the long-standing support of Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus to the MBA Program of the University of Cyprus. The courtesy contribution of the Society is another incentive for our students to pursue a quality master's degree program in Business Administration. We hope that our cooperation will expand even further in the future, to new areas of common interest."

Andreas Giortsios, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Manager Cyprus said: "At Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus, we aim to enhance the professional experience of individuals wishing to enter the business world. We believe it is important to enable students to gain direct contact with the business sector to better understand the challenges and opportunities on offer. Through our support, we want to strengthen the capacity of these people, who will be the protagonists of tomorrow's business."
