Nicosia, 9 April 2025 – Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus, true to its commitment to return value to society and create prospects for a better tomorrow, is spreading smiles to children and families through the Cyprus Red Cross. The company, in collaboration with Sklavenitis, Papantoniou and the Cyprus Red Cross, undertakes to cover the needs for 500 meals for children and families in need this Easter!

Putting into practice the central message of Coca-Cola's campaign "The Recipe of Magic" with the aim of bringing festive food to the Easter table with iced Coca-Cola in every home, Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus joins forces with Sklavenitis stores for a good cause. Through this synergy, which concerns selected products from the Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus portfolio, it covers the cost of 100 love packages, which are equivalent to 500 Easter meals, which will be channeled to vulnerable families in need through the "Love Packages" action of the Cyprus Red Cross.

Andreas Giortsios, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Manager Cyprus stated: "Once again this Easter, Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus, unwavering in its principles and ideals for supporting vulnerable groups, stands by the side of our fellow human beings through the Cyprus Red Cross and is leading a partnership with the supermarkets SKLAVENITIS and Papantoniou. For another year, it implements the special solidarity initiative during Easter. Recognizing that there are many who are struggling, we are all joining forces to bring positive change to the lives of people in need!"

Marios Argyrou, Secretary General of the Cyprus Red Cross, said: "We thank from the bottom of our hearts all those who supported this effort, proving that solidarity is not just an act, but a way of life. Nikos Kazantzakis wrote "Love responsibility. To say: I, I alone, have a duty to save the earth. If it is not saved, it is my fault." With this position, every offering, small or large, has contributed to offering a meal to 500 of our fellow human beings and filling these days with hope and love. We hope that this initiative will inspire even more to take action, strengthening the spirit of unity and humanity."

The action will last from April 9 to April 23 in all Sklavenitis and Papantoniou supermarkets and will concern selected Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Powerade, Fuze Tea and Costa Coffee capsule products.
