Nicosia, 12 November 2024 - Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus has secured three distinctions that once again confirm that the most important factor in its growth and prosperity is its people, at the Cyprus HR Awards. The company received 2 gold and 1 silver distinction for initiatives and programs that it implements and which result in providing its people with a fair and safe environment, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
The award ceremony of this year's HR Awards, organized by Boussias Cyprus, took place on Thursday, October 31 in Nicosia in the presence of private and public sector bodies, renowned professionals and distinguished personalities.
The first gold award was secured in the “ Best Talent Management Strategy / Initiative ” category. With a high-performance culture being a cornerstone of Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus’ vision, the new Performance for Growth (P4G) model places exceptional performance at the heart of the growth strategy and promotes exemplary behaviors. In addition, it reinforces 360° feedback at regular intervals and continuous development. At the same time, growth & development opportunities are identified by the company’s human resources team through the Culture and Employee Engagement Research through frequent Pulse Surveys.
The second gold award was secured by Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus in the category “ Excellence in Performance Management Strategy / Initiative ”. With the leadership model implemented by Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus, it transforms its values into core behaviors. Summarizing the image of success in terms of: “who we want to be, as well as everything we value and want to develop”, it consists of 4 values: Customer First, Make it Simple, We Over I, Deliver Sustainable. Each value is defined by behaviors that embody the company’s culture. The valuesand behaviors are applied and apply to all employees, regardless of hierarchical level, role and department and guide leadership both in terms of the priorities it sets and as the criteria for evaluating performance.
The silver distinction was secured in the “ Best Partnership with Educational Institutions ” category for the company’s partnerships with academic institutions, such as #YouthEmpowered and the scholarship with the MBA of the University of Cyprus. Through a series of interactive programs and initiatives as well as through the company’s participation in Career Days and partnerships with Universities, it aims to offer young people the vision and perspective to start a successful professional path.
