Nicosia, November 2024 – George Priftakis has assumed the duties of Sales Director of Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus as of November 1st, 2024. Mr. Priftakis, with a rich background in sales and business development, assumes his new role after a successful 22-year career at Coca-Cola 3E in Greece.
Starting in 2002 as a Business Developer, Mr. Priftakis has continuously taken on upgraded roles, contributing significantly to the shaping and development of the company's sales. In 2018, as Regional Sales Manager for Attica, he successfully undertook the implementation of the new Route to Market, in 2021, as Field Sales Manager, he was responsible for the Fragmented Trade and Modern Trade channels, where he successfully led the development of Coca-Cola HBC's 24/7 portfolio.
In 2022, he took on the key role of WHS Sales Manager, achieving excellent results with his team, innovating in the development of new categories and the digitalization of WHS. Most recently, he took on the duties of acting Sales Director in Greece, leading the sales team with excellent results during the demanding summer season.
George Priftakis succeeds Vangelis Moschos, who after 7 years of successful experience in Cyprus, assumes the role of BU Coffee, Premium Spirits, Beers & Three Cents Director with responsibility for Greece and Cyprus.
