The social contribution program aims to provide the General Hospital of Niscocia with the following:

  • One fully equipped Intensive Care Unit, which includes a positive pressure respirator, a monitor for continuous monitoring of vital functions, and an electric therapy bed.
  • The purchase of an optical patient monitoring system

The program follows initiatives already undertaken by Coca‑Cola HBC Cyprus. Since the beginning of the crisis, it has been offering free products to meet the needs of health professionals who are at the frontline, as well as patients from all hospitals in Cyprus, showing its gratitude to the daily heroes who work relentlessly, so that we can all be safe. For as long as necessary, Coca‑Cola HBC Cyprus will continue to provide the necessary quantities of products at the General Hospitals of Larnaca, Nicosia, Paphos and Famagusta, at the Arch. Makarios III Hospital Health, at the Kyperounta Hospital, at the Polis Chrysochous Hospital, at the Ambulance Service of the Lakatamia Health Centre,  but also at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics.

In the same context, Coca‑Cola in Cyprus supports the Emergency Service of the Cyprus Red Cross, the Volunteering Commissioner and the respective programs of the Municipalities to support elderly people and vulnerable groups. More than 93.000 essential products have reached to our fellow citizens throughout Cyprus.

It is worth noting that worldwide, The Coca‑Cola Company, together with its Distillers and the Coca‑Cola Foundation, is contributing more than $120 million to alleviate the suffering of people affected by COVID-19, focusing on strengthening hospital equipment, supporting medical and nursing staff and providing food for vulnerable groups.
